Meet Tanja, your mentor.
Hi, I’m Tanja, also known as La Alemana. For nearly two decades, I’ve traveled the world teaching and performing, helping countless dancers achieve their goals on and off the dance floor. My journey began in 2005, and I’ve been fortunate enough to work with women from all walks of life, empowering them through dance and personal growth.
I began mentoring women when I realized something that deeply resonated with me: so many of us feel lost or disconnected from our true selves. As I worked on building my confidence and self-worth, I saw that I wasn’t alone. I met women — young and wise — who were struggling with the same things I once did: feeling insecure, undervalued, and unsure of where to even begin to reconnect with their inner strength.
My passion for mentorship started long before I became a global dance educator.
Passionate about helping women.
I see myself in so many of the women I work with. I see the tired, self-deprecating woman I once was—feeling overwhelmed by life and unsure how to make time for herself. I’ve been in that place, and I know what it’s like to lose touch with who you are. My own experiences, especially during the challenges of 2020, led me to fully understand the importance of prioritizing self-care, building boundaries, and finding inner peace.
I’m passionate about helping women because I know what it feels like to be stuck in the dark. I want every woman to realize it’s not only okay but necessary to put herself first. To fill her own cup so that she can better serve those around her with love and grace.

I’m not just a mentor—I’m a woman who has walked the same path. I understand what it’s like to struggle with boundaries, self-confidence, and feeling disconnected from who you are. I’ve done the work, and I continue to grow every day. Through my vulnerability and authenticity, I’ve found that women relate to my journey, and it allows us to form deep, meaningful connections. I’m here not only to guide you but to grow alongside you.
I may not have all the answers, but I’m committed to helping you find them, to walk with you through your challenges, and to celebrate your triumphs. Together, we’ll create a version of yourself that you’ll be proud to see.
My journey: from darkness to light.
In 2016, after years of internal struggles, I reached a breaking point where I felt powerless and considered ending my life. But I couldn’t leave my mother behind, so I chose a different path. I began therapy, unpacking years of trauma, abandonment issues, and the weight of growing up too soon. Slowly but surely, I reclaimed my life.
It wasn’t until the stillness of 2020 during COVID that I truly took charge of my transformation—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I started working out daily, continuing my therapy, diving into books that healed me, and embracing the power of self-reflection. That’s when the Venus Goddess Network was born. I knew that my journey of healing wasn’t just mine—it was something I wanted to share with women around the world who felt the same way.
